But the enemy of my enemy is most certainly not my friend. I just heard about a married couple who bought into the hype about Dubai being a tourist destination. These two were sitting on the beach, and the man kissed his wife – IN PUBLIC! I think they were sentenced to 30 days in prison. Muslims would also outlaw alcohol, which is perhaps God’s greatest natural gift to mankind.

And every time I hear about how publishers are scared to death to print or broadcast anything offensive to the looney followers of that pederast Mohammed, I sincerely believe that Muslims must be prevented from enforcing their will outside their own countries at all costs. I’m torn when it comes to nuclear weapons, because they need to be able to defend themselves from Jews (meaning the USA). You’re right about the flaws in our own law compared to biblical law. The solution is to prevent all blood strangers from being able to purchase our land. Since this has not been done, many deny that there is now any such thing as a foreigner. They have been trained to parrot the line that America is “a nation of immigrants.” If Christians did not follow only one-fourth of the Bible, our problems would be largely solved. It would still be important to protect the borders, but there would be no legalized theft.

In other words, the question is not “Who lives inside these borders?” but “Who constitutes the ethnocultural group who determines the law of the land and appoints its magistrates?” In our present circumstances, it is far more expedient to strengthen the border than to restrict citizenship to European stock (and endorsing either will put you on a thousand “hate watch” lists.) But wisdom surely lies in seeking the most biblical approach.

(Of course, this might be too simplistic an application of the Deuteronomic law. We are required to heavily contextualize – for example, we’re not going to admit the Edomites into our assembly on the basis of close kinship, or ban the Moabites based on their past treatment of us.)
