Arizona’s reassertion of state sovereignty in a crisis that the “federal” government has encouraged is the most significant action of its kind since the 1960s. I feel a change in the wind. Texas, Utah, and South Carolina are following.

Jews are mighty upset by the new Arizona law, even as they build a massive wall along Israel’s Egyptian border to keep African aliens out, both legal and illegal. Those who are granted guest visas to Israel must sign a statement promising not to have sexual relations with Israeli women, even prostitutes. This is to say nothing of the poor Ethiopians, who once thought that Judaism was a religion and are now being contracepted out of existence.

But the point is, Arizonans are racists, and the ADL intends to do something about it.

Just since the news broke that Arizona is simply trying to enforce a federal law that the “federal” government doesn’t care to enforce, there have been numerous crimes committed by leftists.

Leftists respond that Tea Partiers should hate the Arizona law because they profess to favor reduced government. This is where the schizophrenia of Tea Partiers, and colorblind conservatives in general, comes back to bite them. Every time a Tea Partier shouts that he’s going to take his country back, there is an unmistakable racial subtext, despite his protestations to the contrary. Liberals can see right through it.

Everyone knows that if Mexicans were wealthy and stayed in their own country, and Canadians were coming across the border looking for low-paying jobs, there would be some grumbling about jobs that were being taken from Americans, but there would be none of the racial animosity that now drives the Aztlan movement. Since “conservatives” are self-castrated, they are very careful not to link their support for Arizona to anything racial. In public, at least, they essentially become libertarians, abandoning covenant for economy. This is what leads them to hypocritically denounce the Dutch for not wishing to be overrun by racial and religious strangers, even as they themselves do not wish to be overrun by racial and religious strangers.

The Glenn Beck types have a vested interest then in making sure that when they say “the American people,” they mean a generic people with no common religion, no common race, and no common cultural heritage…

The sheriff “did not disclose a motive,” because then we would have to investigate a hate crime, and we’re trying to reserve those for white people. A more accurate headline would be “Elderly white patriot viciously murdered by black convict,” but this wouldn’t have had the desired effect.

It is far, far worse today, and it’s true that the welfare boom of the 1960s exacerbated the problems by removing the need for fathers. But this doesn’t mean that blacks only act black when they live under socialism. DeMar’s theory is easily shown to be false by a casual survey of black societies over the course of their entire history and in all places. Women have been meat for black men both before they came to America and still today. But Gary DeMar, the racial imbecile, must explain it away as being the fault of slaveowners breaking up families 200 years ago. There are two small problems with this: 1) The Bible allows it; and 2) There were no black “families.”

I doubt that there are many Christian pastors and churchmen who would be willing to denounce, denigrate, or declare as illegitimate the nation-state of Norway today. What Christian would advocate cutting off trade or diplomatic relations with Norway? Where is the Christian denomination or Church that would not recognize the right of Norway to peacefully exist?

Of course, Norway’s parliament dissolved the union between Sweden and Norway on June 7, 1905. While an attempted dissolution that had taken place in 1814 was squashed by a Swedish military victory, the separation of 1905 was done peacefully and without bloodshed (although Norway was willing to shed blood, had it been required). Since Norway’s secession in 1905, the two neighboring countries have enjoyed extremely close – even brotherly – relations.

So, where is the spiritual condemnation for Norway? Who among us would quote Romans 13, et al., in an attempt to demonize the brave, independent spirit of the Norwegians?

By the same token, where is the spiritual outrage over the dissolution of Czechoslovakia? On January 1, 1993, the federal State of Czechoslovakia separated into the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This has been called the “Velvet Divorce” in political parlance, due to the amicable and peaceful nature of the separation. (Of course, Czechoslovakia itself had come into existence by the breakup of Austria-Hungary at the end of World War I.)

We could go on an on with historical examples of how nation-states separated – by either violent or non-violent means. So, why is it that Christians, pastors, and churchmen will not so much as bat an eye at the numerous State separations that have taken place over the centuries, but suddenly become righteously indignant when discussing the American South’s attempted separation from the Union in 1861 – or even of the 13 Colonies’ separation from Great Britain in 1776?

I see that Cultist Doug Phillips is giving an award to Michelle Duggar, mother of 19. It’s unfortunate that she is participating in his Rent-a-Negro conference this year, but it’s true that she is a remarkable woman who is worthy of honor. The thing I appreciate most about her is her humility. She makes it clear that she and her hairspray-loving husband with the hillbilly name of Jim Bob view children as blessings and want to bless others with their example. But there’s a problem, and it is with those, like the poser Doug Phillips, who are promoting mega-families as a Christian imperative. Phillips even calls it murder to end an ectopic pregnancy that could kill the mother. There are times when “Quiverfull” Christians elevate the birthing of children to a duty higher than all others in life. While all Christian mothers would gladly sacrifice their lives for the lives of their children (born and unborn), there are many women who, for many reasons, are capable of having more children but have such high risk factors that their doctors strongly advise against it. This could be a woman in her forties who has had multiple surgeries and faces an inevitable and dangerous c-section or worse. The last thing a woman like this should do is treat the advice of a cultist as being of greater moment than the advice of a doctor, because only one of these actually knows what he’s talking about. In some cases, natural family planning can be an act of mercy. But there is no question that we, as an endangered race, should be doing everything we can to have as many children as we can afford.

Yes, affordability is a major consideration, and anyone who pretends otherwise is lying. The Duggars themselves are an interesting case in point. It’s wonderful that they are able to afford the needs of their huge family, but the average family is simply not going to be able to afford two big houses butted up against each other or a bus for transportation or a kitchen and pantry that most restaurants would envy, because they are not going to have a TV contract to pay their bills. Yet in our time, with infant mortality as low as it is, thanks to world-class medical technology, a couple who marries young and “trusts God” for as many children as physically possible could easily have far more than they can afford. Well-meaning folks are goaded by charlatans and hypocrites like Phillips into hyper-fecundity and “adoption” of Negroes and Orientals, and it places a tremendous strain on marriages and communities. In this sense only, it is wise to not get too carried away with what the Duggars have done.

The oldest Duggar boy got married and his first child was born last year. He and the wife of his youth very emphatically said they would not be having 19 children. They were asked if they would use contraception, and they hemmed and hawed. Clearly, they will take voluntary action of some kind to prevent pregnancies when they feel that their family is big enough, and they will keep it private, because they know that they will be publicly denounced for it, even if it’s as trivial as scheduling around ovulation.

Many of the Quiverfull people are doing good work, promoting sterilization reversal surgery, for instance. The problem, in a nutshell, is that many of them tend to remove the concept of stewardship from the gift of birth.

Anglicans, at the 1930 Lambeth Conference, resolved that birth control is permitted only “when there is a clearly felt moral obligation to limit or avoid parenthood and where there is a morally sound reason for avoiding complete abstinence.” (This also encompasses eugenics, so that genetic abnormalities are not passed to future generations.) “We utter an emphatic warning against the use of unnatural means for the avoidance of conception, together with the grave dangers – physical, moral, and religious – thereby incurred, and against the evils with which the extension of such use threatens the race.” There was a different emphasis ten years earlier, in 1920: “The Conference records its strong condemnation of the use of any methods of conception-control from motives of selfishness, luxury, or mere convenience.” So they went from disallowing even natural family planning to disallowing only unnatural means. But the camel’s nose was in the tent.

Joe Sobran writes about the effect of this decision here: “Few of us can now remember how sternly nearly all Christians disapproved of birth control before 1931, when the Anglican Church opened the floodgates with a few seemingly innocuous exceptions in certain cases of hardship. By now the old standards of chastity have melted away like ice in August.” Christians continue to wrestle with whether avoidance of pregnancy is the same as killing a human life, and the Duggars are not excepted. But Sobran is right; the hard cases did open the floodgates. The hard cases have also driven the abortion debate. Even back when the Attorney General of Kansas had to decide if it was permissible for a woman to wear pants to work, a hard case opened the floodgates to the ugliness of almost all women wearing pants today.

Feminists in the last century were eager to escape the “prison” of domestic life because, in the words of Robert Louis Stevenson, they had “not one thought to rub against another.” This explains why we are afflicted with TV chatter everywhere we go today, as though we’re living in a Bradbury novel. So let me get this straight. There are only a couple of people who keep the lights burning at our office too, but we write because we are compelled to speak the truth, regardless of who reads it or even cares. After the blatant racialism of his Lord of the Rings and King Kong movies, I became a fan of Peter Jackson, so I was curious to see The Lovely Bones. I’ll never get those two hours back. It’s sentimental claptrap that is horrifying without being meaningful. I was most interested in the casting. The mother, Rachel Weisz, is a Jew. The father, Mark Wahlberg, has a Jewey name but is actually a Kraut. The daughter is a beautiful, freckle-faced, red-haired, blue-eyed Aryan. The girl’s love interest is a Moorish boy with an English accent who even calls himself the Moor. He looks completely out of place (the actors look just like these two), but the reference to Othello is obviously intended to signal the end of the peaceful, idyllic, homogeneous, suburban life of the early 1970s. The cinematic world is painted the color of Jew. There are no churches, no prayers, and no Christian imagery of any kind. There are only close-knit, traditional families that have no qualms whatsoever about mixing their blood, just as the preachers of today would have it. This is the only kind of America in which the Jew is welcome. No redemption is needed where there is no sin, and so everyone goes to heaven. In the fantasy world of the Jew, heaven is not what is described in the final chapter of the Bible, where the river of life, bordered by the tree of life, proceeds from the throne of the Lamb of God. No, heaven is all about beauty and forests and the seaside and playful laughter. There is no God in the midst of it, so heaven must have also evolved.
