Actually, The gospel is the good news that God was faithful to his covenant as defined in Jeremiah 31:33-34. Jesus ushered in that new covenant.Read hebrews 8. Yet 999 out of 1000 christians will never give the correct definition of the new covenant if u ask them.
I repeat– the new covenant is not ‘accept that christ died for your sins” or ‘justification by faith’

it’s about a people(Israel) with an intelligence(the holy spirit)given by God- a people with decency who care for their own and enact justice against the violent ignorant savages of our world–it’s about love! Jeremiah said “What use to me is frankincense that comes from Sheba, or sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.”
