The ancient Greek philosophers concerned themselves with the question of being. But having been created in God’s image, it was impossible that they would content themselves with their own being and would not search for Him. They concluded that there are four elements from which the natural world exists: fire, air, water, and earth. Even the twelve constellations of the zodiac are divided into three sets of the four elements. The human body was also defined by the four elements, or humors: yellow bile (fire), black bile (earth), blood (air), and phlegm (water). But they needed a fifth essence, the “quintessence,” to bind them together, and so Aristotle proposed ether.
On Mars Hill, the Apostle Paul proved to the Greeks that the quintessence is Christ. And notice that he does this in the context of explaining why God is a Kinist and has divided mankind: “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being…” (Acts 17:26-28).
In Him, not the ether, we live and move and have our being. This was simply a restatement of how God introduced Himself to Moses: “I am who I am,” which is more literally translated “I be who I be“; eternal, infinite, ultimate Being. Moses didn’t need a philosophical argument when he came face to face with Life Itself, and neither did the Europeans. But if you are looking for an argument external to Scripture, there is none better than the Transcendental Argument for the Existence of God (TAG). Greg Bahnsen used it to famously destroy an atheist opponent in debate. He got it from Cornelius Van Til, but neither man responded to objections in one place. We couldn’t be happier that this duty fell to our friend and compatriot Michael Butler, who is a very learned professor of philosophy and the dean of Christ College.

According to TAG, it is impossible that God does not exist because without God all is meaningless and self-contradictory, including logic, beauty, love, ethics, morality, etc. If it were not so sad, it would be funny to see the Darwinist, who admits that his thoughts are nothing more than neural spasms, wish for his ideas to be taken seriously. Gather round, ladies and germs, as the gelatinous protoplasm becomes a learned man of letters! “Atheism turns out to be too simple,” wrote C.S. Lewis. “If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning.” Or as Ambrose Bierce humorously put it, “Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum (I think that I think, therefore I think that I am).”
Still today, we know what the ancient Greeks knew, and it is what John Calvin wrote on page one of Institutes of the Christian Religion: Without knowledge of self there is no knowledge of God, and without knowledge of God there is no knowledge of self. We all know it, but some choose to suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18).

Christianity: Quest For Truth, Hence Primary Virtue Of Honesty

Note Christianity is quest for TRUTH–this in horrific face of organized, conspiratorial Jew lies, Christ the all-time exemplar and preceptor (Gosp. JOHN 8:32, 14:6). Thus Christ affirms Greek/Western/Aristotelian OBJECTIVE reality (hence truth)–against Jew lies founded in SUBJECTIVISM and hubris. For truth necessarily requires objectivity as basis thereto.
And note Jew lie is statement with no objective reality to back it up, the Jews’ excuse always that gentiles presume an objectivity which Jews loathe and reject in all their characteristic Pharisaism and indignity. Thus Jews insist truth is mere matter of collective subjective determination of Jews, always in contempt of gentiles, always upon presumption of “good” and “virtue” which always serves Jews. Thus note fundamental dichotomy for Christians is truth vs. lies, NEVER presumptuous, totally diversionary “good-evil.” For there’s no objective basis for “good-evil,” and Jews are mere psychopaths, not “evil,” a parasitic disease-of-opportunity taking advantage of hubristic, CYCLICALLY over-populated gentiles who imagine and contrive “good-evil” (Pelagian heresy) delusion, founded upon fallacy (question-begging, presumption).
Note further there is and could be no perfectly “free” human will, only God’s will. Thus absolute determinism founded upon cause-effect is foundation of glorious Greek science, etc. Hence “comfort,” the only possible basis of happiness, is to effect one isn’t capable of “evil,” given God’s omnipotent determinism (cause-effect). And killing Jews, exterminating their hook-nosed ugliness is greatest fun, hence “virtue”–but note this isn’t too easy, and such Jew-expulsion must be considered most seriously.
Thus enduring curse of this world is hubris of gentile scum pretending to “good-evil,” foundation of (subsequent) Jew disease which must continue to reducing presently over-populated (still) gentiles. But that glorious Historic/socio-biologic (see KevinMacDonald.net) CYCLIC culmination for “Decline of the West,” by Oswald Spengler, is evermore due in form of JEW-EXPULSION which has only been substantial accomplishment of that glorious Christian inspiration.
Proto Jew-expulsion was explored by gentile pagans before Christ–as in form of prosecution of criminal conspirators. But Jews present a criminal conspiracy of immensely increased order-of-magnitude, a veritable RELIGION of criminality, Talmudic Ritual Murder (TRM).
And this Christian inspiration/epiphany, thus relieving Jew-expulsion, will come with rejection of such neo-Pelagianism fm Kant, Rousseau, Eng. Utilitarianism, etc., in form of HONESTY which rejects putrid “good-evil” delusion/fallacy which presently so be-devils mankind.
Hence then to decisively, meaningfully break present power of Jews, lies, and “Decline of the West,” and achieving aforementioned, liberating Jew-expulsion, requires utmost human reason, hence HONESTY, hence overthrow of lies and fraud, hence then in practice, (a) removal of present Federal Reserve Bank (Fed) COUNTERFEIT mechanism and fraud (see RealityZone.com for expo/ref.), and (b) removal/neutralizing of “Judeo-Christian” (JC–see Whtt.org and TruthTellers.org for expo/ref.) heretics and dupes who act/serve as “Praetorian Guard” dogs for Jews.
CONCLUSION: Thus note overthrow of aforementioned Pelagianist (“good-evil”) hereticalism comes automatically as people achieve aforementioned HONESTY. “Good-evil” delusion (Pelagianism) is anti-thesis to virtue of Honesty, crux to present historic/socio-biologic struggle and strangle-hold of hereticalist-complex upon and by which Jews rule through present ZOG-Mammon empire/beast, etc. Honest elections and death to the Fed. Christianity: Glorious Literary Aesthetic Affirming Greek/Western Objective, Rational

Well Fr. John, as u can see, I guess my comment is there. Note it (comment) features a rationalist-founded theologic analysis, Christianity defending/featuring the Objective-Greek-Aristotelian against Jew subjective which is so little noted–as by such as u, I submit.
CONCLUSION: Thus Christianity actually features reason against Jew mysticism and lies, this then presented by means of aesthetic and literature. I suggest u try to keep ur emphasis upon substance rather than mere personality and style. Honest elections and death to the Fed. Apollonian

That’s true, from his poem Cretica. And there’s a second obvious Pauline reference in this stanza of the poem, where Minos says to Zeus:
They fashioned a tomb for thee, O holy and high one —
The Cretans, always liars, evil beasts, idle bellies!
But thou art not dead: thou livest and abidest forever,
For in thee we live and move and have our being.
So Paul was very familiar with Epimenides and quoted him when speaking to Athenians in Acts 17, telling them that it is Christ, not Zeus, who created all things “according to his pleasure, and for his praise and glory,” as it says in the first chapter of Colossians.
